Every day make it your goal to complete the items on your To Do list, the important tasks that allow you to reach your goals. Set the import tasks that need to be done first in your day and the rest in chronological order. Scratch the items off as you accomplish them. Things on this list may be items like, get up at the same time every day, start your miracle morning or morning routine, read a book for 5 to 10 pages or consume an audiobook for a chapter or two. Do your pushups, jumping jacks, crunches or Yoga to get the blood pumping in the AM. Get to work on time or maybe even 5 minutes early. What’s that important task on your goals list and make sure it’s on this list! Write down all the things you need to do until your head hits the pillow at the end of your hopefully productive day.
At the same time, have a separate “Not To Do” list, the items on here hold you back or waste your time. Put things that rob you of your time on here, things like sleeping in or hitting the snooze button 3 times (been there and beat it by telling myself before bed that I will wake up refreshed and ready). Not going to the gym or missed taking that walk. Things that can hold you back maybe, things like eating junk food, alcohol, smoking, TV or Netflix, and a real robber of your days can be your Smart Phone, iPad, and visiting all of those Social Media sites (this can rob way more of your day then you can imagine). If you did it today, don’t beat yourself up, just make sure you don’t do it tomorrow. Every day is a reset, and every time you conquer your challenges you make yourself stronger!
Take control of your days and you are getting closer every day to taking back control of your life.
